Refund and Cancellation Policy
How cancellations, refunds, duplicate payments, and Search Pass issues are handled.

Zephy’s free plan does not require payment. The 90-Day Search Pass is a one-time purchase that unlocks the features and usage allowance shown at checkout for 90 days. It does not automatically renew, so there is no recurring subscription to cancel.

2. UK and EEA consumer cancellation period
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, you may have a legal right to cancel an online service contract within 14 days without giving a reason. Zephy’s policy is to provide a full refund when you request cancellation within 14 days of purchasing a Search Pass.
To cancel, email us from the address connected to your Zephy account and include the purchase date. You may use this wording: “I wish to cancel my Zephy Search Pass purchased on [date].”
This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer right that applies where you live.
3. Refunds after 14 days
After the 14-day period, a change of mind will not normally qualify for a refund. We will still review and, where appropriate, refund or provide another remedy for:
- a duplicate or clearly unintended charge;
- a Search Pass that was paid for but was not activated;
- a material service fault that we cannot resolve within a reasonable time;
- a fraudulent payment reported by the payment account holder; or
- circumstances where a refund or other remedy is required by law.
Temporary outages, unsuccessful job applications, employer decisions, or dissatisfaction with an AI suggestion do not automatically qualify for a refund, but we will consider the facts and your statutory rights.
4. What happens after cancellation
When a Search Pass is cancelled and refunded, paid-only access and unused AI allowances may end. Your account and existing job-search information will remain available under the free plan limits unless you separately request account deletion.
A refund does not automatically disconnect Gmail or delete account data. You can disconnect Gmail in Zephy and can request account deletion by email.
5. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned through Stripe to the original payment method. Banks and card providers may take additional time to display the credit. We will not ask you to provide full card details by email.
We aim to acknowledge refund requests promptly and process approved refunds without undue delay. If additional information is needed to locate the transaction or verify the account, we will ask only for what is reasonably necessary.
6. Chargebacks and complaints
Please contact us first so we can investigate a payment issue. This does not prevent you from contacting your card provider or exercising any legal right. Complaints can be sent to support@sohailgsais.com.
